Supa Shield™ products are not screwed, glued, or wedged to hold inside the frame. Instead, K&B uses a "hook-clamp"* system which makes it near impossible to pull the .316 stainless steel woven mesh out.
*The "hook-clamp" system involves folding the stainless steel using a pan-brake to create a lip matching the unique, internal design of the frame used exclusively by K&B, then additionally strengthened with retainer.
